Beautiful river views, historical interior design, engaging outdoor areas
Cleanliness needs work!!! The bathroom left much to be desired, and the check-in process felt rushed and inattentive. Plus, how about updating those worn-out unsightly towels? A little attention to detail would go a long way!!!

This was just a prime choice for an overnight stay in Kettlewell with fantastic value. The open fire atmosphere made it cozy on a cold day, which was nice after a long trip. Try the scampi, just be aware the chips can be a bit overcooked.

Great ambiance with the riverside beer garden providing a perfect spot for relaxation. The attentive staff ensured every detail was taken care of, while the talented chef impressed with delightful curries and hearty pub meals. the room was a bit too warm upon arrival, making for an uncomfortable initial experience, and the shower pressure could definitely be improved.

missingWrote a review on May 23beautiful surroundingsgenerous breakfasttemperature control
Staying at Racehorses was delightful. The character of the old stone building added charm. The decor felt fresh thanks to the owner's continuous refurbishing efforts. Breakfast offered excellent variety, from hearty cooked options to lighter choices, with great coffee to kickstart the day. The evening meals surprised me with fantastic flavors, especially the curries made by a talented chef. The staff were attentive, ensuring I felt welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. An area for improvement could be the temperature control in the rooms. my room felt a bit too hot upon arrival and was hard to cool down. The outdoor seating could also use a little tidying up. The overall experience was great. I would definitely consider visiting again to soak in the picturesque surroundings and enjoy the camaraderie at the bar.
